Bodega Escarpa

Advance Studio Critic: Andy Bow, Patrick Bellow, John Spence This building design is for a winery and resort sited on the railway near the vineyards of La Rioja, Spain. The building is a series of terraces in the natural escarpment that connects the rail line down to a river. Visitors will enter from the top of the escarpment and ride a water-powered funicular down the landlandscape while watching the process of wine making before reaching their unique ‘cave room’.
