Conney Island Urbanism

Spring 2013 Conney Island,NY Critic: Jennifer Leung The vision of this project is to reinvent Conney Island by integrating the water into a new urban fabric. Using the main infrastructural line as control, the water blocks will be programmed (according to deep/ shallow, different quality of the water) influencing the program surrounding it. There are three major housing typologies in this scheme: the mid-rise, the water townhouse and the low density housing.
